WHO WE ARE

We are a group of young people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus who attend local high schools. The group also includes the children’s diabetes nurse specialist from the local hospital, school nurses, teachers and support staff. We hold regular meetings to highlight the needs of young people with diabetes and to educate ourselves about diabetes.

What is the aim of this website?

The aim of this website is to raise awareness about diabetes and to share with young people our knowledge of diabetes. The website has been designed for all young people whether they have diabetes or not.
